King's School Oxford offers flexible evening course to prepare students for IELTS exams.
Thursday evenings, two hours from 18.00 to 20.15 with a short break. You can start on any Thursday and you can book for any period from two weeks upwards. Some students like to book two weeks at a time to get the maximum flexibility; others prefer to commit themselves to a longer period of study (and save money).
They are taught on a six week cycle. This covers the five key elements of the IELTS test: listening, reading, writing task 1, writing task 2 and speaking. The sixth class is a “synoptic” session which brings them all together.
No, the exam skills are practised repeatedly but the language and the lessons are always different.
You complete an enrolment form, have a short interview so we can advise you on the right course, pay your fees and that’s it!
The six week cycle costs £119. It’s more expensive if you join for a shorter period and cheaper if you commit yourself for longer.
