Students who took General Intensive

	Clara from Angola did the General Intensive Course for 4 months. She said: "The school and the teaching were excellent and well organised. I felt my English improved greatly. I really liked Oxford, especially the Botanic Garden."
Jo-Hua from Taiwan took the IELTS Examination Course. She says: "My friend, an ex-student, said I should study here. My host family was great and I really like the City of Oxford."
	Namie from Japan took the General intensive Course to prepare for a course at business school. "The students were very friendly and I really liked my teachers and their lessons. The city's buildings and parks are very beautiful."

	Monika from Germany had a place to go to Oxford Brookes University, and she came to King's to improve her English before taking IELTS and starting her course. "There are lessons and a social programme, lots of opportunities. I like most speaking with people of different countries and learning about their countries. My listening skills are better and I am learning a lot of new vocabularies."
Iva from Yugoslavia came to study Intensive English in her summer holiday. "I have made lots of friends here and I like the social life. I have made friends from all around the world and learned about other cultures. This is the best thing. And my English is improving."
	Marija also came from Yugoslavia for a summer language holiday. "It's my fourth time here at this school. I like everything about it!"
Emilia from Hungary took an IELTS preparation course. "I've met a lot of funny people on my course. Even the teacher is funny. I have more confidence now and better skills. It is fun here. The excursions were terrific, though I was pretty exhausted afterwards."
	Sayaka from Japan came to King's Oxford to learn some English before going to university in Japan. "I have met people from many other countries and I liked my teacher. I have been to see the traditional buildings and churches in Oxford, and the university."
Jaber from the United Arab Emirates thought the school was very quiet. "Everybody is friendly here and the teaching is good."
	Fabian from Switzerland said: "The school is small and lovely. I came here with friends from my country, but I have had many conversations with people from other countries. I like learning about other countries this way. I learn more grammar in my country but I meet more people here."
Bahar from Turkey took General English and IELTS preparation so that she could go on to study for a Master of Business Administration. "Oxford is full of students from all over the world. My host family are very friendly and kind to me. I feel like I'm a member of their family. The treat me like I'm their daughter. Now I have courage to speak, and I understand when English is spoken."
	Alex from the People's Republic of China came to King's School Oxford to study for IELTS and the Cambridge First Certificate. "The teaching is very high quality and it will help me pass the exam. My host family have taught me a lot about English culture, and they showed me around Oxford. We visited the old buildings."
Eugenia from Russia studied English at King's. "I am learning to be focused on my studies. I have made friends with lots of foreign students, although I am sometimes homesick."
