Students who took the University Foundation Course

	Galina from Russia says "I came here on the advice of a friend. I liked meeting people from different countries and I liked studying useful things on my course. I enjoyed my time at the school. Thank you, everyone". Galina went on to the University of Birmingham to study Money, Finance and Banking.
Braulio from Angola took the Foundation Course and went on to Oxford Brookes University to do Technology Management. "I learned many new things and I improved my knowledge. My favourite thing about the school was the teachers!"
	Ahmet from Turkey said "I had great times in this school. My teachers and friends are perfect." Ahmet is going to do Business Management at Oxford Brookes University.
Oneda from Albania is doing International relationships and politics at the University of Essex. "I like the different nationalities at this school. The teachers communicated well and the directors of studies were supportive. The UK is a good country with a tradition of university experience."
	Noel from Albania went on from King's to study Business and Management at Oxford Brookes University. He says, "The best thing about the school is that having students from all over the world allows you to know other cultures and traditions. I had a good relationship with my teachers, especially the directors of studies".
Chao from China said "Lots of friends! Lots of fun! I love it! The course was intensive and effective. I liked the school and also the family I stayed with in Oxford. I won't forget this. My life changed by choosing this school." Chao went on to study Management and Accounting at Royal Holloway University of London.
	Sun from China I liked the maths on my course best, and the school's computers were very good. it's a nice place to stay and study, the atmosphere makes everyone like to learn everything.
Wendy from China will be doing Accounting and Finance at the University of Essex. She said "I had a wonderful time".
	Ioulia from Russia "The subjects of the course are interesting. I have learned lots of new information, especially about the UK. I have made friends from different countries, also the teachers are very friendly and kind. Oxford is a beautiful city with lots of old houses and museums. The night life is also very good and there are lots of nice people around." Ioulia went to study Business Management at Oxford Brookes University.
Nedim and his cousin Ahmet from Turkey studied together at King's. Like Ahmet, Nedim is also going to study Business Management at Oxford Brookes University.
	Xiao Feng from China went to the University of Loughborough after King's School. "I liked the mathematics best. The school has a friendly environment and a good education system. Oxford was interesting and I have acquired new life skills and friends."
Guang from China will be doing Management at Goldsmith College. "The school is friendly and lively. It is a great place to live and study."
	Aliona from Moldovia said "It was a very full course. The staff were always ready to help. I chose the school because it has a high standard of teaching and students go to a wide range of universities. Oxford is a very nice and beautiful city." After King's, Aliona did Economics and Politics at the University of Bath.
Corina from Moldovia wanted to study Tourism Management at university. "Oxford is a very nice city, old and small with nice people. My agency told me this was one of the best schools in the UK. I especially liked the way teachers relate to students. They are respectful and kind." Corina went to the University of Surrey for her chosen course.
	Linlin took the Foundation Course to prepare her for a degree in Management Studies. She is taking her degree at the University of Nottingham.
After the Foundation Course, Hidetaka went to the University of East Anglia to study Accounting and Finance.
	Jiade-Daz from China went from King's to study Management at Royal Holloway University of London. He says "The school was a really nice place to study. The food and computing facilities were especially good."
Christine from Brunei took the Foundation Course before going on to university. "This course has prepared me for higher education and kept me well disciplined. The course is full of activity and brain storming. My teachers helped me through the hardest time. Thank you! The school has a nice atmosphere, and I like the pool table, it releases stress. I want to go on to university and make my parents proud."
	Tabby from Brazil. "My English has got better, and I like living in England. The weekend trips with friends are fun. So is socialising at break time." When Tabby finished her course she went to Bournemouth University to study Hotel Management.
Tomoko from Japan studied the HEFP Foundation Year at King’s in 2000-01. Tomoko passed the Foundation Year with Merit. She chose to go to the Roehampton Institute to take her degree. She is now taking Early Childhood Studies.
	Colin from the Ivory Coast studied the HEFP Foundation Year at King’s School Oxford in 1998-99. He became very interested in politics during the course. He passed the Foundation Year with Merit, and went on to study International Relations at Keele University.
Rina took the HEFP Foundation Year at King’s School Oxford in 1997-98. She passed the course, and went on to the Roehampton Institute to take a degree course in psychology. "During the second term I got to grips with the hard schedules. The course was so challenging, the staff and fellow students were always willing to help me. I am so proud of how much I have learnt doing this course."
	Dominique from France took the University Foundation Course to prepare for university. "I found the teachers attentive to my needs and enjoyed doing the assignments they set."
Yin-Chien from Taiwan did the General Intensive Course prior to taking the University Foundation Course. "I enjoyed all the lessons but found the grammar lessons the most helpful. Oxford can be a fun place to learn."
	Yueh-Tzu from Taiwan took the University Foundation Course and went on to study Criminology at Middlesex University. "The teaching methods have lead me to become more disciplined in my studies. Oxford is a very enjoyable city to relax in when I'm not studying."
Fernanda from Brazil took the General Intensive Course, the GCSE Examination/Combined Studies Course before going on to take the University Foundation Course. "The school was very flexible and accommodated my individual needs. I came here because my cousin had studied here."
	Eniela from Albania took the GCE "A-Level" University Entrance Course but then changed to the Foundation Course. "The school has the best social activities and teachers. I learnt a lot about the country and even more about the language!"
Peterson from Hong Kong took the University Foundation course after doing a GCE "A- Level" Course. He went on to study Economics at Oxford Brookes University. "I was taught how to produce the kinds of assignment I would need at university. I now feel well equipped to begin life at university. My friend said I should study here."
	Lyaila from Khazakhstan returned to the school to take the University Foundation Course. She then went on to take a Masters degree in London. "I intended to do a Masters and found the course prepared me for this. Also my writing skills greatly improved. It was great to see staff and old friends again."
Jie Liu from China took an English Language course at King's before starting the Foundation Course. He passed the Foundation Course and went on to Portsmouth University to study Computing.
	Emiri took the Foundation Course after a course of English lessons at King's Oxford. "I have met a lot of people from other countries. I like talking to them. The teachers talk to us, they are very friendly and it is good practice." Emiri passed the Foundation Course and went to the University of Surrey at Roehampton, to study Psychology and Counselling.
